All students online ?

29 May 2015

Everyone would like a fast, powerful internet connection at home. Schools are no different. It’s all the more important to have a powerful connection when so many students are online at the same time.

Our children need to have access to the digital classroom as early as possible. With that in mind, the Brussels-Capital Region wants to provide a fast internet connection to all schoolchildren through the Fiber-to-the-School project.

If the plan is rolled out in secondary schools by 2019, the Brussels-Capital Region will lead the way in the European Union with regard to internet in schools across all categories, ahead of Sweden, Denmark and Finland, which are model countries when it comes to quality and efficiency in education.
