Developers can now access the data and reuse them for their own purposes.
Since 2016, the public authorities in Brussels have made as many data as possible freely accessible on opendatastore.brussels. The aim is to allow the general public and more specifically journalists, businesses and students to use the data effectively. Since the launch of the open data site, a large amount of data has been made public, including the Brussels cultural agenda, Brussels map data in 3D and public spending.
Fix My Street is now available as open data on the Brussels regional portal, opendatastore.brussels.
Thanks to the Fix My Street application, citizens can report potholes and similar road defects in public spaces (via a website or via the mobile application) to the relevant Brussels authorities. Fix My Street can also be used to report the presence of waste and illegal dumping on public roads.
Fix My Street is the fruit of a collaboration between Bruxelles Mobilité, Bruxelles-Propreté, the Brussels municipalities and Brussels partner institutions. The application is managed by the BRIC.
