CABAN, the network of Brussels’ digital-literacy stakeholders (
French:
Collectif des Acteurs
Bruxellois de l’
Accessibilité
Numérique), recently launched a useful search function on its website homepage
www.caban.be. Its purpose is to allow the people of Brussels to swiftly and easily find tools, people, organisations and services that can help them to develop their digital skills.
This search engine enables users to filter their searches according to:
- Specific training courses, e.g. social media, graphic design, etc.
- Equipment and services such as a printer, access to an online municipal platform, etc.
- Their target group: pensioners, jobseekers, etc.
- Their language, i.e. Dutch or French.
Search results are displayed in the form of an overview, both in a list and on an interactive map.
