As previously announced, the platform hosting the user profiles of our regional free Wi-Fi network, wifi.brussels, has been migrated in order to provide a more adequate support.
This migration has now been successfully completed.
However, this success has a downside. The platform that hosts the user accounts was not designed for such a large number of users and needs to be upgraded.
It will therefore be migrated on Monday 4 November.
This migration is crucial in improving the user experience by facilitating registration, amongst other things. We hope that, in time, this will result in an increase of potential users.
Users of wifi.brussels can now make an account on the new platform.
The procedure has been simplified. Users who wish to surf the internet for free, are requested to enter a valid phone number and accept the general conditions – but that’s it!
The new procedure is available on
www.wifi.brussels.
