Collect chewing-gum in dedicated waste bins for recycling

Like cigarette ends, chewing gum is litter and costs millions of euros to clean up. Dedicated waste bins could be installed to collect precious rubber and recycle it into various objects such as shoes.

One solution to prevent chewing gum from defacing the streets would be to install specific bins and collect the gum to recycle it into various objects. It’s already being done in London by a company called Gumdrop.
