Distribute waste bags for cigarette stubs on the streets and in secondary schools to prevent them from being discarded on the ground
Yes, there are special waste containers for cigarette ends, yes, there are waste bins, but to be honest they’re not much use. As a smoker, I can tell you I can’t be bothered to go and bin my cigarette stubs. My Italian brother-in-law, also a smoker, brought back a blue pouch from Italy with a metal lining (I think it was made of aluminium), which he used to store his cigarette ends when we were in a park or some other place where there weren’t many bins, and that’s what gave me the idea of distributing them free of charge in secondary schools, universities, training institutes, etc.
