One of our partners, the BRIC, will attend the BeGeo 2020 event, organised by the NGI in collaboration with Agoria, which will take place from 9am to 6pm on 24 March at Brussels Expo (Hall 10). BeGeo is the meeting point for actors from the world of geographical information. At BeGeo, public authorities, the private sector and the world of research come together to share information and experiences, or simply meet each other.
The full programme for the events can be found
on the BeGeo20 website.
The plenary session will be followed by a diverse programme featuring several parallel sessions (tracks). Don't miss track 4 "Nominated for the Geospatial Awards – Pecha Kucha": Claude Hannecart (BRIC) and Ruben Cappelle (BRIC at Brussels Mobility) will present the Mobile Mapping project, which has been nominated for an Award.
In addition to the exciting programme for this event, a
main exhibition hall will allow visitors to discover the different groups involved in Belgian cartography. Come and visit us on the BRIC stand (number 22), where we will present the digital progress made in the areas of cartography and GIS, through the UrbIS tool, and demonstrate the "Mobile Mapping Indoor & Outdoor" project.
For more information on the BRIC and its involvement in the sector, please watch
the presentation video on the BeGeo website.
This event is free of charge but registration is required: please mention that you were invited by the BRIC!
