European money is available for future smart city projects in Brussels

12 November 2015

Several calls in Horizon 2020 are dedicated to projects for smart city projects or technologies. Funding of the best ranked proposals ranges from 70% to 100% of the eligible project costs.

“Sustainable cities through nature-based solutions”, “Supporting smart electric mobility in cities”, “Facilitating public procurement of innovative sustainable transport and mobility solutions in urban areas”, “Sustainable urbanisation”...
These are some topics from Horizon 2020 (The EU Framework Programme for Research & Innovation) that will be tackled in 2016 and 2017. The new work programmes for this period are now published.

Funding of the best ranked proposals ranges from 70% to 100% of the eligible project costs.

Proposals require an innovative approach and ambition, transnational collaboration in a consortium of partners from different Member States, and a clear European added value.
