The #Rebound programme organised by hub.brussels is intended to help female entrepreneurs who have been affected by the coronavirus crisis. Experts and entrepreneurs who have adjusted their business model share their expertise during workshops. The programme forms an important part of the recovery and reorientation plan of the Government of the Brussels-Capital Region.
Around 30% of entrepreneurs in Brussels are female and their number continues to grow. The coronavirus crisis threatens to slow down this positive evolution, which is why this programme is needed.
The Rebound programme ran from 6 October to 6 December 2020 and consisted of twenty workshops covering a variety of topics: new business models, financing, innovation, coaching, networking, and so on.
To top it off, an awards ceremony was held on 3 December for the 5 best conversion projects. The ceremony and pitches were organised online.
The jury was composed of the following members: Rodolphe d'Udekem d'Acoz, Head of BU Digital & Expertise at hub.brussels, Clotilde Annez, Deal Flow & Corporate Manager at BeAngels, Evy Ceuleers, Team Leader at Innoviris, René Mat from Accenture Technology, and Céline Vanderborght, Smart City Manager at BRIC. After a round of questions, they selected 5 winners.
The five winning female entrepreneurs are as follows:
- Virginie Roux from Eureka Food Agency – https://www.eureka-foodagency.com/
- Emmanuelle Le Gall from Ydrosia – https://ydrosia.com/
