During this lunch talk, on 25 February 2021 at 1pm, Michel Herquet will give an overview of the different open source tools that he and his team use in their AI and data science projects. From Python libraries to more advanced machine learning tools.

Michel Herquet has a university background in theoretical physics. He obtained a PhD in particle physics at UCLouvain and then worked as a postdoctoral researcher abroad. His research focused on the development of advanced Monte Carlo simulations for the discovery of the famous Higgs boson. In 2012, he co-founded B12 Consulting, an IT services company based in Louvain-la-Neuve, specialising in custom software development and AI and data science projects. Since then, he has led dozens of advanced analysis/IA projects for various clients in many sectors. In addition, he regularly teaches at the University of Physics and Management, both at the elementary and advanced levels.
