What are the digital strategies of London, Barcelona or The Hague?

Eager to learn more on London, Barcelona and The Hague’s data and digital strategies for the next years? Interested in knowing what’s in for cities in the upcoming EC Communication on ‘Europe’s digital decade: 2030 digital targets’? You might then want to register to the next Eurocities city dialogue on ‘Cities’ digital decade’ on 18 of March 2021!   

Later this month, the EC will put forward Europe’s 2030 digital targets, the vision of what a successful digital transformation will mean for Europeans by 2030. Eurocities takes the occasion to launch a discussion with member cities and the European Commission on cities current and future digital plans and needs on, among others, connectivity, more and better flow and use of data, digital skills and access to digital public services.

Cities are key players to achieve Europe’s digital transformation; they have launched many projects and activities and are collaborating at EU level to boost the uptake and upscale of digital solutions and together build the European way of digital transformation.  

EC Director Rita Wezenbeek, Connectivity (DG CNECT) will introduce the new EC communication and opportunities for cities and the CIO/CDOs from Barcelona, London and the Hague will then present and discuss with the Commission and participants their digital plans, future priorities and actions.
