You can use the Online Permits service to browse the status of your planning or land division permit in the Brussels-Capital Region or display all applications at regional level. The service is the first step in the transition to managing permit applications online as part of the smart city concept.
The Online Permits service is accessible via the Brussels-Capital Region urban development portal at
www.urbanisme.brussels (or directly at
www.urbanisme.irisnet.be/permis). This website, which is available in Dutch or French, is split into two sections:
- Browse your own application: citizens or their architects use their own electronic ID to identify themselves.
- General information on permits in the Brussels-Capital Region: click an application on the interactive Online Permits map to access information, such as precise location, permit type and a short description
Planning and land division permit applications are currently accessible through the Online Permits service. Environmental licences will be added in due course. They can be accessed as soon as the application is declared complete and until:
- Four years after final notification of issue or rejection for planning permits
- Seven years after final notification of issue or rejection for land division permits
Under development
To create a more personalised, user-friendly service for permits applicants, the Brussels-Capital Region is committed to introducing an online permit application submission procedure.
