2018 elections accessible to all
Are you disabled and looking for information about the 2018 elections?
The Brussels-Capital Region is taking special measures to ensure that the elections are accessible to everyone. The Region is aware of the difficulties people with disabilities can encounter, whether to reach their polling station or to vote, and it has created a
brochure (FR/NL) to inform them about this civic action and raise awareness about the importance of voting.
The first section of the brochure, written by
Brussels Local Authorities (FR/NL) in partnership with the Collectif Accessibilité Wallonie-Bruxelles (CAWaB), details the practical aspects of voting for persons with a disability. The second section explains the elections as well as how to obtain assistance in the voting booth, in FALC (easy to read) format.
