Have you heard of the Smart Mobility Planner? It’s a new, real-time route planner that combines information from various transport companies: De Lijn in Flanders, STIB/MIVB in Brussels, TEC in Wallonia and of course SNCB/NMBS. Although the app has not yet been officially launched, you can already take a look at it

This is a real first for Belgium, as up to now people could only look up public-transport info on the companies’ own specific websites or mobile environments.
During the current testing phase, the developers have limited themselves to a web version, as research has shown that most people plan their routes this way. However, you will also be able to use the final version on mobile devices such as phones, tablets and laptops.
