Bruxelles Formation is the French-language public body providing professional training for job-seekers and employees in the Brussels-Capital Region. The body launched a communications campaign on 11 January in order to specially promote its range of online courses. The campaign is aimed at all Brussels citizens who are seeking employment, but also devotes attention to those who are on furlough.
If you have been furloughed or become unemployed during the current health crisis, then now is a good opportunity to
learn online, at your own pace!
The campaign is being promoted using posters, radio adverts, online videos, and social networks. It all revolves around
boosting your position in the employment market.
The range of online training courses offered by Bruxelles Formation has expanded significantly since 2016. The online training catalogue covers more than 30 specialist areas and includes over 50,000 different course modules.
The modules are geared towards job-seekers who already hold qualifications and are interested in improving their skills, or those who wish to brush up on their basic knowledge.
As part of Brussels' recovery plan, each worker is being offered one month's free access to the training modules until the end of 2021. This period may be extended for employees who are furloughed.
The
course catalogue (FR) is available to view on the campaign website.
