Not one but two editions of the event BrailleTech, the week of the Braille League dedicated to technology, will take place from 14 to 20 October 2021!
In the last twenty years, technological innovations have made enormous strides in the lives of people with disabilities. In order to discover, compare and test applications specifically designed for blind and/or visually impaired people, the Braille League is opening its doors (and its digital channels) during a major technology week, BrailleTech.
As a result of the pandemic, this year the association is adapting and offering a hybrid form of BrailleTech. A live version will take place from 14 to 16 October (from 9.30 a.m. to 5 p.m., free of charge) at the non-profit organisation's premises in Brussels and on presentation of the Covid Safe Ticket. The second edition, a digital (remote) version, will be held from 14 to 20 October and can be followed on PC, tablet or smartphone via Zoom. Not only will you discover various podcasts and videos permanently available on the digital channels (website, YouTube, Facebook...) of the Braille League, but also video conferences and webinars at fixed times in which you can participate via Zoom after registration.
For both editions, advance registration is mandatory.
