The sixth Smart City Wallonia will take place on 4 October at the WEX in Marche-en-Famenne. This exhibition-congress aims to provide the momentum for taking up the major governance challenges and placing the citizen at the heart of deliberations on smart cities.
The exhibition-congress will be centred around conferences and demonstrations in the presence of Julie Foulon, founder of GIRLEEK and co-founder of MolenGeek, and Mathieu Michel, Secretary of State for Digitalisation. They will talk about digitalisation in Belgium through the role of women in the digital world and the role of the public sector.
The main stakeholders in cities, municipalities, inter-municipalities and public interest organisations will also be present to find solutions to their needs and inspiration in creating the uses of tomorrow.
This day of discussions will be interspersed with workshops on major themes such as:
- e-tourism
- drones: legislation, use and concrete cases
- the energy transition or energy sharing as an accelerator of the transition
- cyber security
- open data to support citizens
- how to determine the level of maturity in my Smart City approach?
The event is completely free but registration is required via this link:
