Caban

The CABAN network, the Collective of Brussels Actors for Digital Accessibility, brings together associations and other organisations fighting the digital divide in Brussels. This network offers DPSs a shared website and a map of the digital inclusion offer in Brussels. Please note that this map is not exhaustive. So don't hesitate to find out about the local dynamics in your area and possible restrictions on the computer spaces nearest you.

The missions of the CABAN network are:

networking of digital inclusion stakeholders in Brussels;
the updated directory of digital inclusion stakeholders (via their website);
internal and external communication in the sector (relaying calls for projects, requests from partners or external organisations, relaying to the Region, speaking in the press and at events dedicated to digital inclusion, etc.);
the political representation of digital inclusion stakeholders;
the benchmark in terms of "good practices" and harmonisation of the actions of the network stakeholders.

CABAN is also an important partner of the Regional Digital Inclusion Coordination in the execution of the Digital Appropriation Plan 2021-2024 and carries out several tasks, such as the creation of a financing register for certified DPSs.
